For additional fuel savings, an auto idle feature idles the excavator’s engine automatically when machine functions are not used for a few seconds. The auto shutdown feature also saves fuel while helping to lower warranty hours. Smart Power Control (SPC) maximizes machine efficiency without sacrificing productivity. Four selectable power modes allow you to manage the balance of fuel consumption and machine power based on working conditions. Choose from Power+, Power, Standard and Economy modes.
Convenient Machine ServiceabilityDEVELON Fleet Management is standard on the DX490LC-7. You can remotely monitor the machine’s location, health and productivity. The DX490LC-7 offers ground-level access to all filters and convenient access to regular inspection points. Access panels open from the top, bottom and sides of the machine. Centralized grease banks on the arm and base of the boom make daily maintenance easier.
