What will it take to boost your bottom line? An engine that delivers more power and performance for an increase in productivity? A class-leading empty weight that leads to optimized payload? A longer life for high operating hours, reduced costs and the opportunity to rebuild for a second life? With the Cat® 793F, you get all of this — and more. This popular industry workhorse is the ideal choice for a wide variety of applications. It hauls more every load, every cycle and every shift. And it delivers a better bottom line to the most important mine in the world: yours.

GREATER THAN 90% AVAILABILITY

New and updated machines in the field are delivering industry-leading availability.

OVER 6% FASTER THAN COMPETITIVE TRUCKS

The 793F travels at a class-leading speed on grade of 12.9 kph / 8 mph on 10% grade.

OVER 5% WEIGHT ADVANTAGE

The 793F offers industry-leading payload for rated gross machine weight.

Features may include:

Safety
  • SAFETY-INFUSED
  • From slip-resistant surfaces and guard rails to state-of-the-art collision avoidance technologies, the Cat 793F is infused with features to help operators feel safe and confident on the job.
  • ACCESS/EGRESS
  • Improvements for machine level access and egress include a standard 600 mm (24 in) diagonal stairway across the front of the machine. Improvements for ground level access include.
  • INTEGRAL ROPS CAB
  • Resiliently mounted to the main frame to reduce vibration and sound, the integral ROPS structure is an extension of the truck frame and exceeds SAE requirements.
  • ISOLATION BOX
  • Lockout tagout box mounted on front bumper includes engine shutdown switch, battery lockout, starter lockout and transmission lockout.
  • CAT DETECT SYSTEM
  • Knowing what's around your 793F at all times is important. The Cat Detect system is factory installed as standard equipment on 793F Mining Trucks. The full Cat Detect system, RADAR AND CAMERA, provides both audible and visual indications of detected objects. This system uses a combination of short and medium range radars which surround the machine, along with cameras on each side to allow the operator to confirm the detected object. The cameras supplement the radar alerts and are selectable by touch screen menus through an intuitive interface.
  • OTHER SAFETY FEATURES
  • — Slip resistant surfaces
  • — 76 mm (3 in) wide orange three-point operator restraint
  • — Wide angle mirrors
  • — Body raised indicator
  • — Double body retaining cables
  • — Guard rails
  • — Reverse neutralizer when dumping
  • — Low interior sound levelSHOW LESS
Performance
  • OPTIMUM POWER
  • The Cat 6-speed transmission, with the latest APECS controls, is paired with the C175-16 engine to deliver optimum power over a wide range of operating speeds.
  • — The lock-up torque converter engages at approximately 8 km/h (5 mph), delivering unsurpassed stall torque for its size class.
  • — Cat final drives work as a system with the upper powertrain to deliver maximum power to the ground.
  • OVER 6% FASTER THAN COMPETITIVE TRUCKS
  • The 793F is 6% faster than competitive trucks and delivers optimal speed on steep grades, poor underfoot conditions and haul roads with high rolling resistance. Its C175-16 diesel engine's 16-cylinder, four-stroke design uses long, effective power strokes for optimum efficiency.
